Best Actress Award (1st Irish NY) for The Prophet of Monto (The Flea, NY) directed by Des Kennedy, Dirtyworks (Edinburgh Fringe), Some Voices, The Pitchfork Disney, Motherfucker with the Hat (Orion), Lovers. The Award winning site-specific Ladies & Gents by Paul Walker (Irish Arts Center, NY). Recent Irish short You are Beautiful with Dearbhla Molloy (RTE Shortscreen/Int Player) and dozens of independent films. TV: Fair City, and recently appearing in Red Rock for TV3.         

As writer, Laoisa has written three produced plays since 2013. Her new play, The Pigeon in The Taj Mahal recently received its world premiere Off Broadway, at The Irish Repertory Theater, directed by Alan Cox. It was named Best Theater of 2016. Laoisa's debut play in 2013, FOR LOVE, was also produced by Irish Rep. It was critically acclaimed and received a 5* NY Times Critics Pick. Following the Off Broadway run, the play toured across Ireland. The Last Days of Cleopatra first premiered at Urban Stages, in New York City. It has since been performed in Canada (2016) and won two awards at Milwaukee Irish Play Festival. Laoisa's newest play Ave Maria, Blessed Art Thou Amongst Women recently received a public reading at the much lauded New Group, NY.
